About the Author
Chris Michaelsen is a Senior Research Fellow at the UNSW Faculty of Law and Co-Director of the UNSW International Law and Policy Group. Before joining UNSW, he served as an Adviser on Counter-Terrorism and Human Rights at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Chris holds law degrees from Hamburg University and the University of Queensland and a PhD from the ANU’s Strategic and Defence Studies Centre.
